Welcome Rosie Packer is a successful, independent artist living and working in Wimbledon, London. Her unique style is inspired by the warm colours, fragrant spices, flora, fauna, the history, architecture and peoples of North Africa. The subtle blue, green, emerald and turquoise hues are taken from her spiritual home in the West Country - Cornwall. Cornwall, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, whose dramatic ever-changing moods give Rosie's pictures a quiet mystical power of their own. Rosie has a deep interest in all things spiritual, and takes an holistic approach to self improvement and achieving an inner well-being, which is reflected in her work. Her work is an interesting series of juxtapositions between hard, masculine lines, feminine curves, plants and flowers, seascapes hinted at through intriguing archways - forcing the observer to linger and ponder.
